Connection between Feng Shui, your body and your health!

Did you know that Feng Shui can help nourish your home, your space, as well as your health?

Feng Shui has many tips and adjustments to help improve your health and well-being.

Scientific studies show that your home and workplace reflect positively or not on the quality of your health in general!

Many homes and workplaces have low energy or even suffer from complete energy stagnation, making them unsuitable for living or working.

Feng Shui and Your BodySome people don't need to be experts, they just need to be attentive or more sensitive. They feel when they enter an environment that does not have a pleasant, positive energy. They feel uncomfortable when they live or work in a messy, disorganized, dark place cluttered with furniture, what causes them discomfort, which negatively influences their emotions, thoughts, focus, and vitality. Such environments can bring discouragement, irritation, bad mood, low self-esteem, to the point of affecting relationships, work, prosperity, creativity and the health of everyone who lives or works there.

Around 4,000 years ago, the Chinese were concerned with finding the ideal place to bury their loved ones and the best locations for their plantations. They initially made their choices by observing the rhythm of the Planet. A successful plantation brought prosperity and health, which in turn brought happiness. This way of thinking evolved over time, villages emerged and reflected the elements that could ensure good vibes in a location, what brought health, balance, happiness, and well-being to its inhabitants. They realized that different environments had a direct influence on people's happiness, peace, joy, and even luck. They initially gave the name of Kan Yu to this philosophy, science, and art, where Kan means Heaven (representing the Chinese view of how “the invisible world influences the real world") and Yu means Earth (representing "the study of Geography, the visible world", focusing mainly on rivers and mountains). Although the concept of Feng Shui is primarily associated with the Chinese, its roots can be traced back to India and Tibet. Later, the name Kan Yu would be changed to Feng Shui.

Then, Feng Shui was translated as wind-water, that is, we must avoid strong wind (or everything that is aggressive to us) and retain water (or everything that is nutritious).

“It is of utmost importance that the place is ‘alive’. One must avoid the wind, as one avoids a thief, and guard water, as one guards a treasure.” – Yang Junsong

We are part of the Universe and must be in harmony with it. The study of Feng Shui allows us to mindfully take care of our environment and position ourselves correctly so that we can benefit from the flow of energies generated by the Universe, the Earth, and buildings.

How is the health of your home or workplace according to Feng Shui?

Feng Shui brings tools that help us understand the environment where we live or work: it analyzes the floor plans, the shape of lots and buildings, furniture and objects, and determines whether the place has a positive influence on the lives of the people who live there or use the location.

Each environment shows how different areas of our lives are, as well as provides valuable tips for understanding our bodies. When we understand how the logistics work, we can make adjustments to bring success and happiness to areas of our lives such as relationships, children, family, career, life mission, travel, help from Heaven and Earth, health, and financial prosperity. The place is a reflection of people's lives, as well as their physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health.

So pay attention to the messages your location is sending! Notice whether your body is warning you of any health imbalance, and try to adjust your environment using Feng Shui.

Let's start with the Career and Mission Area: the parts of the body related to this Gua are the ears, kidneys, and bladder. Therefore, check if anyone has problems with ear infections, hearing impairment, ear canal obstruction, tinnitus, or any kidney or bladder diseases and adjust the Career and Mission area. It is associated with the Water Element and the kidneys are water producers. And there's one more thing: this Gua refers to the money we earn from work, from our business, and kidney problems can also mean problems with the financial income that comes from work. This Gua is about career opportunities and mission in life and it can show us ways to understand our deeper calling, our life mission, especially when it is necessary to keep us on the right path in life. Work, Career, or Life Mission can lead us to Success. So, think about whether there are any health problems in any of these parts of your body or the body of any other person who uses this space. This area is associated with the Water Element, so check for any excess Earth or Fire in this Gua.

Knowledge and Wisdom Area: it is related to school, professional, spiritual, and financial learning, and is connected to the wisdom to make decisions, to deal with difficulties and problems. It is the area of the hands (which are an extension of our brain since the hands execute what the brain commands), as well as the area of the shoulders and back. You can figure out someone's emotional state by the hand movements. Is there a health problem with one of these parts of your body? This area is associated with the Earth Element and hand problems such as arthritis, sweaty palms, and nail fungus are often associated with excessive clutter or excess Metal or Wood Element; also, a broken wrist or fingers can sometimes indicate a big decision that is being postponed. When you take good care of your hands, your thoughts will be orderly, and you will act more wisely. Having more awareness of your hands will help you organize your thoughts better, making them clearer and more assertive. This area is associated with the Earth Element, so check for any excess Wood or Metal in this Gua.

Family Area: it relates to feet, legs and lungs. People with problems in these parts of the body may feel that life is stagnant, that it is difficult to go on and move forward. Check if you or anyone occupying this space have foot, toe, ankle, fungal issues, allergies, respiratory or lung problems. Also, it is important to settle your family issues so they do not cause problems in any of these organs. Check for excess Fire or Metal in this Gua, as it is associated with the Wood Element.

It relates to our Reputation and Recognition, how we see and value ourselves. So, if anyone in the environment has vision problems, eye infection, low metabolism, lack of passion for life, heart problems, or high blood pressure, check for too much Fire, as well as imbalance or excess of the Water or Earth Elements in this Gua that could be damaging the Fire and causing someone to suffer something in one of these parts of the body.

Relationship Area: this Gua is related to the stomach, intestines, female organs, and skin and is associated with the Earth Element. It relates to romantic relationships, self-love, and connections with the mother, feminine energy, and Mother Earth. When our relationships are not going well, there is a possibility of internal organs being affected. When the stomach has a problem, there may be some difficulty with self-love, with some situation that is difficult to digest. The digestive system can be affected by worry, anxiety, and overthinking as they interfere with the stomach's ability to convert food into energy. Stomach pain, gastritis, ulcers, reflux, lack of vitality and enthusiasm can be caused by insecurity or an overactive mind leading to a deficiency of Chi in the stomach. Since this area is associated with the Earth Element, check for any excess Wood or Metal in this Gua.

Children and Creativity Area: it relates to the mouth, which represents communication, as well as the teeth, throat, and lungs. But we want to remind you that your Children and Creativity area, even though it has that name, is not just for children. It helps you focus, generates new ideas, helps in the future, provides childish joy, and brings vitality and enthusiasm to your life. If you are an artist or writer, this area can help overcome creative blocks. If a person is experiencing issues with their teeth and mouth, it could be due to a lack of communication about their wants and needs, struggles with starting new projects or being creative, difficulty with concentration, or difficulties with their children or someone else's. Check for excess Fire or Water in this Gua, associated with the Metal Element.
